I will dominate 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.

Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As both boxers engaged in the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
